Man seeks help at Baltimore fire station after Mosher Street shooting, police say

Police are investigating a late-night shooting in West Baltimore after a wounded person sought help at a nearby fire station.

On June 24, at about 11:28 p.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1500 block of Mosher Street.

Police said officers found evidence that shots had been fired.

A short time later, officers were dispatched to a fire station in the 1500 block of W. Lafayette Ave., where a shooting victim had walked in seeking medical treatment.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Western District shooting detectives responded and are investigating the incident.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect and determine a motive.
