WASHINGTON (7News) — Newly released photos from inside the Trump Kennedy Center show worsening conditions that officials hope will be addressed through a $257 million renovation.
The photos were taken during a recent tour of the facility led by Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer Matt Floca.

They show corroded steel on equipment, water-damaged electrical systems, deteriorating concrete and structurally compromised theater equipment, including on the Opera House stage.

Renovations are set to begin in July. The Kennedy Center is expected to be closed for about two years.
