ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) — A traffic stop on Monday morning in Linthicum led to the arrest of a Montgomery County man after a woman told police she had been kidnapped and handcuffed, according to Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police.
On June 29, shortly before 9 a.m., an MDTA Police Officer assigned to the BWI Airport stopped a black Chevrolet Malibu for making an illegal turn near the intersection of West Nursery Road and Elm Road.
Police identified the driver as 24-year-old Bryan Neal Gordon of Silver Spring.
During the traffic stop, a woman got out of the vehicle and told officers Gordon had handcuffed and kidnapped her, according to MDTA Police.

Additional officers and investigators with the MDTA Police Criminal Investigations Unit responded to the scene to collect evidence and interview those involved.
Gordon was ultimately arrested and taken to the Jennifer Road Detention Center, where authorities said he is being held without bond.
He is charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment, assault and multiple traffic violations.
The MDTA Police Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate.
