HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) — Howard County police released body camera footage capturing an incident where a suspect’s car was stolen while he was committing a burglary.
The incident took place on June 25 after authorities responded to a report of a stolen vehicle.
A few minutes later, police also responded to a burglary at a Verizon store located across the street, and once there, officers observed blood on the window where the burglar had broken in.
While speaking with the man about his stolen car, officers noticed blood on his hands and glasses, which connected him to the burglary across the street.
“That’s kind of some karma right there, ain’t it?” one officer said to the suspect.
In a social media post on Thursday, police said, “Don’t you hate it when your car gets stolen while you’re committing a burglary?”
