Brooklyn Park (WBFF) — A motorcyclist is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision on Thursday morning in Brooklyn Park, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
On April 16, around 5:20 a.m., officers responded to Ritchie Highway at 9th Avenue for a collision involving a Kawasaki Motorcycle and a Honda Pilot.
Upon arrival, officers requested the Crash Reconstruction Team.
According to officials, the Honda was driving southbound on Ritchie Highway when the driver attempted to make a U-turn at 9th Avenue.

The motorcyclist was driving southbound on Ritchie Highway and rear ended the Honda.
The driver of the motorcycle, identified as a 24-year-old man from Brooklyn Park, was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Honda, identified as a 41-year-old man from Brooklyn Park, and passengers of the vehicle were not injured.
